Last week (March 11 – 17, 2018), we took a family trip to Houston, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Our Spring Break trip included visits with family and old friends, awesome museums, cool hotels, exciting drone flights, and either a light bout of food poisoning or a gnarly 48-hour stomach bug. We had beautiful cool weather and it was sunny most of the time. And our last few days there it warmed up to 80 degrees, which got us prepared for the heat back home in Florida.
We took advantage of the CityPass Houston while there, which offers admission to a collection of attractions for one low price. We used ours to visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Space Center Houston, but we could have spent another day or two in either of those museums and still not have seen and experienced everything. It was also Spring Break in Houston so there were lots of people out and about. But even for it being the fourth largest city in the nation, you could still move about freely in the museums and elsewhere. I guess they just really do build things bigger and better in Texas.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve caught a glimpse of some of these things already. There will be much more to come with videos, blog posts and so on in the coming weeks which we’re working on right now. If you have any questions about our trip, please ask them in the comments below and I’ll answer them as quickly as I can.
For now, here’s a few photos from our great trip!
