Ayla got to celebrate her first Christmas this year and I have to say that she made out pretty well in my opinion. Lots of new treats, 3 new squeeky toys and the new found joy of tearing open presents herself and then shredding the wrapping paper afterwards. I never would have imagined that she would instinctively know how to open the presents herself but she did it very well.
We had “grandparents” from both sides here over Christmas so Ayla was getting lots of attention and actually started her first heat so it’s made things a bit more interesting to say the least. She hasn’t really leaked too much and cleans herself religiously, about like a cat so at least we’re not really worried about the carpet or anything (not that it’s not filthy already lol). Hopefully it won’t get worse over the next couple of weeks but we’re staying hopeful.
