Vaccinations

Today Ayla got to see her friends at the vet. They just shower her with love and attention there which she just eats up like the treats they throw at her. She is 11.1 kilos now and growing up quickly into a big girl. Pretty soon she’ll be too heavy to even lift on the exam table. She didn’t have any problems with the shot, just stood there gobbling down the food they had given her and didn’t even notice the prick of the needle. Have to work with her a bit more about facial exams as she was rather squirmy when the vet examined her teeth and eyes and all that…but she’s still doing quite well for her age and has definitely mastered the scale there.

That was really our most exciting point of the day. She has been passed out since lunch, only getting up now and then for more water. I’m hoping that she won’t be bursting with energy tonight after the hubby gets home so we can have a rather quiet evening for a change…so we’ll see how that goes. We might even get a chance to watch an entire movie without disruptions….but I wouldn’t really know how to behave if that was the case anymore 😉
