We live in a 1,600 sq. ft. condo in SW Florida. It's plenty of room for just the three of us but we would like to have more places to store the stuff we have. Our current plans for the next decade or two will hopefully include a whole lot more travel, especially after...
In case you missed my ode to our 2013 Honda Pilot that started a love affair, you can read it here. Also, let me start by saying that although I'm a big fan of both of our Honda Pilots, the opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced by any company. But...
I'm going to start this post off with a confession. This was originally meant to be a New Years post...all about how I'm not a fan of resolutions because all of us seem to make those without any real intention of making a change. And how I don't exactly make them...
If you wear glasses, you may be like me in thinking that you can never have too many pairs of glasses. Unless you're Elton John. He apparently had way too many at one point. And then he didn't need them at all after surgery! But until recently, I only had 2 pairs of...

Living in Southwest Florida, stinging insects like mosquitoes and no-see-ums are a VERY real problem, especially if you spend a lot of time outdoors like we do. Although the local county sprays for these pests on a regular basis, people who are just a bit sweeter than...
We have a nice-sized kitchen in our condo and there's even space for a Newfie to pass out in the middle of the floor. We like the layout and the fact that there are lots of cabinets, especially since we happen to own a lot of kitchen stuff. We like food and cooking at...

As you've likely heard by now, Stefan and I started running a little over a year ago, and already have our first marathon behind us, along with several half-marathons and other various races and long runs. One thing that you really have to keep in mind when you do...
